ProEdge QuickPass™ In-Office Water Test is a heterotrophic plate count water test to help dental offices measure compliance with the CDC standard for safe water (<= 500CFU/mL). It is the only water test designed specifically for dental offices.

The QuickPass features a paddle with a germicidal neutralization formula that quickly and accurately provides water quality test results, typically in 48-72 hours. The germicidal neutralization is essential to getting the most accurate results possible in an in-office test.

This process neutralizes anti-microbial agents from a tablet, straw, cartridge, etc. that remain in the test water and could produce a false-negative result, leaving your practice believing your water is safe even if it's not.

In addition, the paddle is easy to read. The paddle formula makes bacteria grow red and orange so that it's easy to detect. Results from the test are based on the concentration and darkness of the bacteria after the end of the incubation period.
