Expasyl Retraction Paste Refill Package

Expasyl™ Gingival Retraction Paste is an retraction cord alternative that can be used for all procedures requiring retraction: impressions, seating restorations, fitting rubber dams, restoring cavities, and more. It has a viscosity that specially formulated to effectively open the sulcus with very little pressure, reducing the risk of damaging the epithelial attachment. The quality of the opening is the same as what would be achieved with retraction cord and without lesions, resumption of bleeding or pain for the patient.

To apply, simply extrude Extrasyl directly into the sulcus where it holds its rigifity to create space between the tooth and surrounding tissue. Aluminum chloride controls bleeding and crevicular seepage during procedures.
